Your Name In Lights
Creating False Volumetric Lights
There are a lot of ways that you can create volumetric lights in an animation. My personal favorite would be to open a 3D application that supports true volume, in order to have your lights obey properly. Sometimes, you don't need that much.
Making a traveling personal wireless network with a MacBook Pro
Getting multiple wireless devices online from a single hotel wired Internet connection
Although the prices of traveling keep going up due to the rising price of gas, many people continue to choose to travel. Although many hotels offer high speed Internet in the rooms, access is usually of the wired kind. The average family now have multiple computer users, including teenagers who have their personal lives on their own notebook computers. These families will benefit from a traveling personal wireless solution that I will show you how to set up here, provided you have a MacBook or MacBook Pro.

Nikon D60 and Nikkor 55-200mm VR Lens
The 10.2 megapixel (Mp) Nikon D60 is Nikon's latest entry-level DSLR with an 18-55mm VR kit lens
The 10.2 megapixel (Mp) Nikon D60 is Nikon's latest entry-level DSLR with an 18-55mm VR kit lens, joining the D40 and D40x, and it packs more professional features and better imaging options than either of its predecessors. The ease-of-use and power under the hood make this a must-own camera, especially with a new price of $699 with the 18-55mm lens.
Nik Software's Silver Efex Pro
This elegant and easy to use plug-in for Photoshop and Aperture helps you turn your color photos into great b&w images
Color photography has been around for since 1861, almost 150 years, yet our fascination with black and white images has never faded. By stripping out color they offer a different viewpoint to our world, often creating a very strong emotional impact. Even today, with digital photo sensors capturing every color with 14-bit glory, many of us still end up turning those images into black and white.
Glowing footage in Motion 3
Radium Glow takes the term "glow" to another level
I have always loved the look of a subtle glow on images shot at night. Cars whisking through a dimly lit street with their headlights glowing adds a bit of surrealism. Adding an even stronger glow to footage can create images you might have never even imagined that can be used in many places in your project.
Ambient Design's Art Rage Deluxe
Even though this software is not "Endlessly Customizable" it has features not found in other programs three times the price
Art Rage Deluxe from Ambient Design is a simple painting program, not to be compared with the heavy weight Corel Painter. But it does have some fun additions that even Painter Essentials doesn't have. I am going to review those features by way of a project of my own. I am designing a painting that will be printed on fabric to fix a tote bag that I ruined.
