WINDOWSEATpictures (El Segundo, CA) recently shot four one-hour programs documenting the celebrated Vans Triple Crown of Surfing (men's and women's competitions) with several Panasonic P2 HD solid-state camcorders. The first installment will air Monday, February 16 on Fox Cable Networks' Fuel TV at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The shows will subsequently appear on VOOM's RUSH HD network.

Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 Essential Training: Importing Still images
Setting still image duration and scale
In this clip, host Antony Bolante discusses some of the issues that crop up when importing still images into Premiere Pro CS4. He notes that stills are just a single frame of duration but when in video the frame plays much longer. In Premiere Pro, the still frame on the Timeline is set to play by default, for five seconds. He shows how to change the duration in the general pane of the preferences dialog box. He also covers setting a preference for still image scale.

Using the dialog box, the media browser, and Bridge to import assets
In this clip, host Antony Bolante discusses how Premiere Pro CS4 generates a list of assets by importing files. You can import all sorts of files, and Bolante discusses the three methods available to you; using the dialog box, the media browser, or via Adobe Bridge. Using any of these methods, you can import individual files, multiple files, or an entire folder of files.
