A tiny 3D purple pixel appears at the far edge of vision, then tumbles maniacally toward the viewer while issuing a Yahoo- esque yodel from its embedded speaker to open "Purple Hunt" (:30 and : 15s), a frenetic spot promoting an online code breaking game for Yahoo Philippines. The all CG spot was produced for Ogilvy, Singapore, by creative collaborative Tronic Studios
Delivering Rich Internet Applications with Adobe Acrobat
Adobe's Acrobat has evolved dramatically from its origins as an easily shared image of a document. Today you can send richly formatted proposals using Acrobat's universal PDF format. PDF documents can include links to Web pages, embedded video, Flash applications and forms. In other words, you can add to Acrobat many of the features you find on the Web, but with one big advantage: you do not need the Web or any Web browser to view a richly formatted PDF -- you just need Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.

Why should a developer build something for the Mac that when there is a like application that ships with every Mac? In this clip, Lynda.com host Ted LoCascio discusses how to turn fonts on so they are recognized in your applications. He details several different ways to turn fonts on and off and shows how to activate it via Activation or Permanent. He reiterates to have as few fonts turned on as possible due to system restraints and such.
