Brickyard VFX Makes a Hole-In-One for Titleist
Artist owned-and-operated bi-coastal effects boutique Brickyard VFX recently contributed VFX to the 2010 ad campaign for Titleist via ad agency Arnold. The multi-spot campaign was directed by @radical.media's Greg Kohs and began breaking before the New Year, with the last spot, "Yardage Book," breaking on Jan. 30.
JSM Scores Olympic Gold for CHEIL Worldwide
JSM Owner and Composer Joel Simon, working with CHEIL Worldwide and Crossroads UK, led the music production and sound design teams on a mesmerizing :30 promoting the Internet capabilities of the new Samsung Omnia II smart phone. The spot, which features an Olympic motif inspired by next month's Winter Games in Vancouver, displays the deft skill and artistry of JSM's creatives and talent to perfectly synch an original score and sound design to even the trickiest commercial ventures.

Stuart Gosling Wins Gold with RED and SCRATCH
Stuart Gosling is an established Director of Photography, who is also an experienced colorist. By applying his combined skills on-set and in the post-production suites, he is pioneering a new breed of the modern day Digital DOP. Most recently, The Australian Cinematographers Society awarded Gosling a Gold for Best Cinematography in the short fictionalized Drama Category for Simon Baré's A Love Story (premiere in 2010).

After years of hype, Apple, Inc. today introduced the iPad, a portable computing device that looks like a big iPhone. Introduced today by Apple CEO Steve Jobs, the iPad features a touchscreen keypad, wireless capability, the capability to run all iPhone applications, all in a form factor that fits in between an iPhone and a MacBook. With the iPad, you can play movies, load maps, view photos, update your calendar, basically do the same things as on an iPhone, and more.

Kids don't watch much TV with us anymore. They use their Roku units. They log onto their favorite shows. They YouTube oldies but goodies. They watch shows from Spain, France and Mexico (one is studying French, the other Spanish). They're watching how-to YouTube segments. They watch the stuff on their smartphones and their notebooks...not the TV. That's got Tellywood worried because they don't control that much anymore. True ...the only person you hate worse than the phone person is the cable guy!
