The New Ouya Video Game Console Is Taking Pre-Orders
It seems there's a new video game console on the block, and it's coming sooner than you think. The crowd-funded Ouya console is now available for pre-order.Ouya started as a kickstarter campaign seeking $950,000 for the creation of a new game platform, but the effort exploded and soon collected $8.5 million for the new system. The android based console will have popular game titles streamed to it by the OnLive streaming service. Famous video game developers Namco and Square Enix are already in talks to bring projects to the platform.The Ouya console will be priced at $109 and will be shipped to $99 Kickstarter supporters in March 2013, and April 2013 for those who pre-order.
