-- the "parent" site: DigitalMediaNet.com. But also the Digital Post Production
site. Haven't had a chance to check out the others yet. Always thought
you guys had incredible content, services, and an effective site structure
- just never crazy about the previous design. But this is really a quantum
leap. Hands down one of the more progressive (from a design perspective),
yet still functional and packed (regarding structure and content) sites
on the Web. Many sites have one or the other, but few have both.
Definitely a home run in my book. Regards, Brian -in

Living and operating an AV company in good old Wellington New Zealand, the only way to keep in touch in the past was to read lots and travel to Infocomm each year. want to say "well-done" on your newsletter. This is by far the most sophisticated
and good-looking html newsletter I have received. Well, actually, it's
about the only html newsletter that I receive. I'm fascinated by the way
that even though the page is being loaded as a file from my hard drive,
it immediately jumps online and goes to get all the stuff that it needs
to go get. The cgi bin frames are really nice looking images, and some
of them even have little animations going on. I'm just getting into web
design and I find your newsletter fascinating. I look at the code to see
how it works. Good job.

I have been to your website five times in the past few months. It is absolutely terrific! The times have been full of AV news lately, and I appreciate your objective approach to providing news, a marketplace, and information. I have participated in the AV Industry for over 25 years now through my involvement at Pran Inc., Paoletti Assoc. and QFTV. Since forming Evolutia in 98 I have moved more into the fringes of AV, and (if you did not know, I am only consulting with Evolutia) now am involved in projects that are more of an IT nature than AV. I will provide you more information re: my SUPeRSITe project in Jan-Feb 01. I do enjoy keeping up with the Industry, and your news letter is the easiest way to do so. I wish all the best, and happy Thanksgiving! -in

I like what I see!!!!! Hey
there DMN, Just wanted to say how much I enjoy reading the DMN news every
day. With technology changing so rapidly it's good to have one source
to with which I can keep up to date. Your links have also been invaluable
when I have encountered software conflicts, when lo and behold, I'm not
the only poor soul scratching my head, yet each and every time I've researched
a glitch, I have found the answer through your links! Keep up the good
work!
Geoffrey Bjorgan I Love
this newsletter. It keeps me current on some of the latest technology,
trends and projects. I enjoy reading about small shops using software
available to all. These same operations are making commercials for heavy
hitters like Dayton Hudson/Target. It's inspiring to know what's possible
and how it was done. Announcing new partnerships and software roll outs
also keeps my interest. Keep up the good work,
Matt Sanford I am
thoroughly pleased with the quality and quantity of information (did I
mention variety?) I receive from DigitalMediaNet's newsletters. Your staff
does an outstanding job covering a wide array of topics in the fields
I care most about. I have eagerly shared these sites with my coworkers
and friends, and wish you all prosperity in your efforts which are so
deeply appreciated.
Sincerely, H. Jay Wiencko I used
to produce convention tv news at the shows you're covering, and I think
your broadcast is really well done. I am enjoying the rest of the newsletter
as well. Just thought you'd like to know.

Keep it coming! I often use your information in my Broadcasting classes. To:
Denise Harrison Subject: Re: MPEG-1s won't project
You are a doll! I am telling everyone about your wwug forum. I listed the details of the solution (thanks to Gary and several other) on the web, but here they are: The customer went into the "displays" setting in the "control panels" of the laptop and made sure that both the laptop display and the second monitor display (in this case the projector) were both set to "primary". The laptop did not have the VRAM to display both the internal LCD and the VGA out, so the external connection (projector) failed to play the memory-intensive movies; she turned off the laptop's internal screen using the Function key commands to make the laptop's external VGA port active WITHOUT the internal LCD screen active in the laptop. As a
Solution Provider Company here in Brazil, I am very satisfied with the
"great" contribution you have done. We can have the "cutting edge" tech
info right on time. Many thanks to all of you, and congratulations for
such "spectacular" contribution to the market. God bless you! I thank you for the newsletter. It's a great tool for me. I can keep up to date on developments in broadcast graphics and still have time to actually produce broadcast graphics. "I
have DigitalMediaNet.com set up as my home page and find when I get on
the net, I am so consumed by everything to do with this business that
I often don't get out of the loop of sites that are yours. Sometimes for
days!!! It certainly covers all of the bases for content creation from
purchasing to reviewing to techniques, contacts and industry news about
what's presently going on." "When our Fortune 500 client wanted to launch a banner ad campaign on websites targeting the DCC marketplace, there was not shortage of sites interested in the business. However, we were especially pleased with DigitalMediaNet.com. Not only did it offer multiple ways of reaching our audience, DMN's quality and professional implementation of our client's program, along with its follow-up services including regular, detailed activity reports set a high standard of excellence. DigitalMediaNet.com delivered, and then some." Jim Erickson, Vice-President - Client Services Wehrman & Company "DigitalMediaNet.com has the best content in our marketplace and has the most comprehensive newsletter, in addition to having entertaing writers such as Charlie White. I'm glad to see the Millimeter and Video Sytems content being added to the mix, as well. Advertising on the web sites at DigitalMediaNet.com has proven to be a great success." Janet Matey, Marketing Communications Director Matrox Video Products Group I am the only employee in a small web design, multimedia, animation, and video production company. My love is animation, but I am responsible for producing all of the content we offer. With the constant changes and new technologies popping up in this digital industry it's hard to keep up with everything. I look forward to your newsletter every week because it helps keep me up to date on all of my digital disciplines. Thank you for providing the newsletter. Nathen
Gross I wanted
to pass on my thanks for such a great e-mail newsletter. I am with PRIMEDIA
Workplace Learning in Dallas, TX. My job is in researching, development,
implementation and production for our products. I look forward to your
newsletter for what is happening in the digital world and I actually have
and researched the clients that post banner ads and other types of advertising.
This is the most effective, web-savvy newsletter I get. I consistently "click out" to at least one reference, and frequently forward an entire page to a colleague. This is the level of electronic publishing required to replace magazines. Thanks for the work! Best regards, David Roudebush, Strategic Marketing Partners What a plethora of information. My husband and I own a 3D studio where we are starting to incorporate a Flash department in addition to transitioning into webcast studio for the development and delivery of training and educational classes. Of course with this endeavor I now have to delve into the webcasting arena to expound on the progressive nature of this beast. Your newsletter is a place I can go to for the most up to date information on everything that we are involved with right now. I get really motivated after reading and perusing the information in your newsletters as well as following all the links to other sites. Here's an example of the way I move through the Digital Media Newsletter: Digital Animators: Keeps me in the trenches to hear about changes and evaluations of the digital design software DCC Workstation: for my technical side....I get to drool over the latest and greatest "I have to have" stations. DV Editing: the latest and greatest editing stuff. Broadcast Engineering: Watching the two worlds collide...traditional broadcast converging with webcast technology. I'm there! Digital Webcast: Has provided me with knowledgeable information and comparisons to which I have used to base decisions in my purchases or equipment regarding my new endeavor. This is the stack of webpapers (newspapers) that I have on my virtual desk when I go into work. On a leisure Sunday I cruise them all. Thank you guys and gals for constructing such a hub of information. It reduces my surf time for information on the internet by a boatload (BTW, that is a technical term).
